Obviously there is meaning and beauty in the world. Not being able to account for it shows the inadequacy of current theories.

studying science does indeed fill me with aw and wonderment, the world is fascinating and beautifull. but i see no reason to think there is inherent meaning in it. meaning is something we come up with. i find meaning in my part in human history, adding just that tiny sliver of knowledge to the body of knowledge we have, and in passing on my knowledge, in family and friendship.
