Not OP but I am also in a sort of 'engineering adjacent' major. I am confident that I can fill in all the gaps myself and pass the standards certification exams like the PE. Is the major really all that important as long as I pass those thing. I just don't want to transfer schools again, mine doesn't offer anything better.

Yes. In my country 'industrial engineering' and 'management engineering' majors are considered business majors, even if they take up to calc 3 and chemistry + physics. Basically you will put in engineering effort for a functionally business degree. Big fuck up. Switch to mech or EE
