>>12406136I do my best thinking in images that are geometrical-kinesthetic, almost in the way someone does when working on a physics simulation, though translating thoughts in that mode into natural language or more formal mathematical & procedural statements is the part where almost all the "effort" is felt. That is also to say that my intuition is a lot more self-consistent & reliable than my facility with symbols. People are often surprised by the range of problems I can solve, and just as usually by my prevailing lack of rigor at explaining how it was done.
