Not him but dva/dv is 0 so eqn reduces to sqrt of dva/dt2 sigmat2 . dva/DT is just the coefficient of t, or vmax-vmin... yada yada.

Its zero because the term has no v coefficient. I suggest you go through a BUNCH of easier equations to get the basics down. If you don't you're fucked on your exam.

you differentiate with respect to the variable that's in the denominator, and it's not a delta, it's a del, a delta would be a finite difference.

Figure out whether t_max and min are constants and then differentiate with respect to t
