Say I have a substance Y and I want to test it for molecule X.

Are there retail labs that do this kind of thing? What type of test am I looking for?

Not a chemist by any means but I'd imagine ur best bet is gonna be like any kind of chromogenic assay or immunofluorescent assays cuz ur not gonna b findin like mass spec of any form in retail lab space lmao

you can get NMRs, MS, IR, and all sorts of other chemical tests done at no-name chemical contractor companies all over the US.
