If I started to flip a coin, then continued forever, is it possible for me to only get "heads" for an infinite span of time? Or only any finitely large amount of time?

Given the random variable that n random coin flips $X = \sum_{k = 1}^n \textbf{1}_{``H''}$ are all heads is well defined, one can easily talk about $\mathbb{P}(X_n = n)$ , and subsequently a rudimentary question related to what's at hand: $\lim_{n \to \infty} \mathbb{P}(X_n = n)$

This may or may not answer the question fully, but given that the measures are all discrete here, you can get away with the simplest techniques.

Yes, with probability 0.

Note, if an even has probability 0, it doesn't mean that it's impossible.

For example, consider throwing a dart uniformly randomly on the segment of the number line from 0 to 1.

What's the probability of it landing on any specific number? 0.
Yet, the dart will land on some number.
There's a 100% chance that a 0% chance event will happen.

This might seem weird, but these kind things only happen when you have infinitely many events. You could argue that it doesn't correspond to anything in the "real" world so that it doesn't matter if the result is weird.

The limit being 0 tells you about its likelihood, but the actual "could such an event happen" question is already answered - yes, we have a fair coin and can write down the sequence OP is talking as (H, H, H, H, ...). The limit of the likelihood of this happening being 0 has nothing to do with the "impossibility" of doing something an infinite amount of times - such an event is in the probability space. The real problem is how you relate this "apparent impossibility" to the limit of the probability being zero - you imply that the lack of realizability is the same reason why the probability will approach zero, which is misguided and untrue.

the problem isn't asking any tester or person to undergo an infinite amount of coin tosses to completion. It's asking about abstract tosses of fair coins - we can do an infinite amount of coin tosses in math. Whether or not it's realizable isn't really the point here.
