We just had ourselves an M4.4 solar flare just over the east limb (left side of image) folks. Strongest in 3 years. May have been X class but the limb blocked some of the energy. Should be turning into view in a day or two.

Wonder how this cycle will turn out. It's expected to be quiet but you never know...
