Every other first world country seems to pay STEM grads and postgrads well, except the UK. The country cant even fall back on lower living costs as it has some of the highest living costs in the world.

For example, living costs in the UK and US are fairly similar, yet in the US you stand to earn twice as much in a similar field.

Why does the UK not value STEM graduates at all?
