One time I was so high on mushrooms and nitrous that I, upon inhalation, closed my eyes and felt myself lose control of my awareness/consciousness and body/mind (kind of like a dream); the only thing I can recall was a vision of being in "space", travelling at some kind of warp-speed past the darkness and the "stars" towards some point - it turned out to be some kind of mirror or opening, upon which was a reflection of myself smiling back at myself with open-mouthed excitement and surprise.

That was pretty epic.
