For countries like the United States, achieving growth is hard because you're already on the forefront of development and need to INNOVATE to get growth.
Third worlders literally just need to implement the innovation that Westerners have already made. Yet, Africans have at best been able to do a subpar job of this (Nigeria), and at worst managed to take a step BACKWARDS (Central African Republic).
