> work full time on an OSS project that is pretty mature and we spend most of our time arguing about minute details and there's little big picture thinking to be done

Want to learn maths and some more advanced distributed systems stuff since that's what I work on for the most part. Chances I can skip (and for the love of God not pay for) most of the undergrad CS garbage (algos, data structures etc etc etc)
