Even without considering suits I’ve noticed a lot of people dressing extremely casually (and dare I say, slobbish). Not that I would argue this impacts the quality of their work, but with ANY profession im a part of I would prefer for it to be associated with only the most well kept citizens. Unfortunately I think high level stem is difficult to progress in while also maintaining other balanced areas of life, including hygiene. Not impossible, but difficult
