Any other flu season:
>no masks
>no social distancing
>nothing cancelled
>no state-issued quarantines

I'm not saying the response is bad, but why the drastic change in our response to flu-like viruses? There are flu seasons that kill upwards of 80k/year in the US and yet we don't have a response even close to Covid-19 (at 250k+). Pneumonia is a big deal and whether it comes from COVID-19 or influenza doesn't matter as much.
