Question... why do butches/dykes/lesbians who hate men with a passion and wish for men to die away have such a strong desire to look exactly like those they hate so much?

it is obviously a combination of mental illness and sexual insecurity, but that is not to be mentioned. So what other reasons (excuses) are there?

What has compelled the original question is a bar patron who was born a female and has chosen to become a male (triggered by mental illness and sexual insecurity).

I know several FtMs, many of them have ridiculous views of masculinity. "I hate it when I feel sad, its such a feminine trait. I feel good when I work at home depot, it's a masculine job. I wish I wasn't so short, short men are less masculine", it is astounding to hear this shit out of the mouths of people who say gender is a social construct and shouldn't determine people's behaviour. Anyway, many of these FtMs view femininity as weak and vulnerable. A lot of them hate their body so much they can't look at themselves naked, they have to shower in the dark. I find that a really high proportion of them tell me they were raped as a child. I think that internally they view associate their womanhood with victimhood, and believe that if they reject femininity and embrace masculinity, they'll never be victimised again. It's sad because they'll never be a man, just an ugly mutilated woman.

You're sorely mistaken. MtFs will push themselves into every single woman's space, will drown out the voices of women, and will scream and piss and moan if any woman speaks out against them. There are many MtFs who insist that lesbians who refuse to sleep with them are transphobic. MtFs insist on being able to use womens bathrooms and changing rooms, despite women being far more likely to be assualted in such situations. A brief look through the website "transcrimeuk" shows that there are far more violent offenders, mostly against women, than you would expect for such a tiny minority.

I find when I am distressed or troubled, it's often dissociation, telling me why it's okay, relaxation.
I'm not saying these things don't have their place, but sometimes I want that distress. Sometimes I want to be fueled by that frustration and use it as a means to agitate energy into overcoming obstacles.
Continual pacification does nothing to solve my issues.

With all the infantilization and docile attempts on women and the feminine spirit in the west, I appreciate that the modern context is calling upon more of her ferocious energy.. though I'm concerned that media is often directing it.

The reason western women seem so angry and why western men seem so revolting is because keeping people seperated and in conflict with one another stops them from realising who the real source of their problems are.

The docility and pacification is making everyone content with more authority to take care of them, and at the same time, they're part of the same institution creating the stress to begin with.
