Obviously a stupid question but how exactly does a photon gets produced from Nuclear fusion and fission?
It's mostly just proton and neutron interaction that gets expelled with a huge kinetic energy which in turn should produce radiation via decay.
But...where does the photon come from?
None of the radioactive decay process produces photons.
