I mean, hell, they don't even understand what a theory even IS. Even if they do, I have seen first hand that they don't even understand the subject in question.
This is such a redundant subject at this point. It's been 17 years since creationists tried this crap and it failed hard on its face when the wedge document came to the surface. (It wasn't exactly hidden. They were passing it around for ages and someone happened to get an email containing it and a subpoena revealed that it was legitimate).
So yes, children should be taught evolution in school, just like they should be taught how to read, write, do arithmetic, history, how to question the world around them, and so on.
Why are we even discussing this at this point?
