back in the days you could buy goverment bonds that gave you 5- 10% at least in my country, nowerdays you get less return on these than inflation
stocks are the last thing that gives people some sort of return even if it's just 1 - 2% in company growth
this is also not a bubble in the traditional sense, we just printed a hell of a lot of money, but people didn't use that new money to buy apples and bread they took it to buy assets like stocks and real estate
if there is no better alternative to stocks, they will still go up
