But you know, on the other hand, the socialistic (and dare I say, American) appeal to equality might not be misplaced, if we reframe it as "aspirational". Yes, every human being has the propensity to be great, with enough progress in the sciences, that might one day aid them in becoming as great as they can be. But then, some people view that as eugenics, a national socialist wet dream. The future of the human species looks bright. Or it would, if only we could untangle it from politics.
