A quick G*ogle search makes me believe it's basically a Civil Engineering degree but specialized in transportation and maybe some urban planning - while I would think you would have success finding a job with virtually any civil company or GC (since many have engineers in house, even if they're not the ones actually designing the plans), you may be hard pressed to find a career in some of the more "mechanical" areas of MechE, and HR may be reluctant to consider you for any MechE positions even if you qualify, since HR typically has no technical background
