>>12381086Yeah saline would be the placebo. For the base test group.
And a true vaccine wouldn't be just plain saline.
But if both groups end up having the same statistical outcome. Did either one have an effect?
I just googled the world wide stats.
59million infected
38million recovered.
1.4million deaths.
7billion population(before knowing the census update)
1%is 70million.
So 59million. Is roughly .89%of global population.
But 38million recovered.
Is roughly 64.4% of the total infected.
1.4million death is 2.4% is the death count.
So leaving roughly 33.2% of known infected.
I hope no one assumes doctumented patient zero was actually patient zero.
The disease is known to have a 2 week incubation period. And China supposedly new before October last year. And the disease was probably spreading for monthes before hand. And because of the obscure symptoms to no symptoms. There are easily hundreds of thousands if not millions of former Carriers.
This vaccine has 70% success rate. And some are agreeing in a larger sample pool it would go to 62% success rate.
And that success rate is roughly following the survival rate with no vaccine or placebo vaccine.
Idk i am dumb ass fag that doesn't understand statistics or math.
I personally have no issues with vaccines.
I don't have issue getting a flu shot every so often.
But this is the same old school method as a chicken pox party.
Get everyone sick or close enough. And let the chips fall where they may.
The scary thing is if this was as deadly as the Spanish flu. We would be SO screwed.
My neighbor hood banned kids from playing on the playgrounds.
Even when I was a kid not many kids actually played on them. And a few years ago they added an electrical code gate so they could label it a gated community.
Which doesn't stop anyone from getting in. Which is besides the point. But more adults going in and out pressing the keypad. Would probably spread the disease faster.
