>>12375436I doubt it because consider all the people you watch die. They didnt watch themselves die, meaning they were in a different universe from you, but what can be said of this person without conciousness? I.e., if in my world I survive and in your world I die, our worlds would have to exactly coincide in all aspect except my/your death. Consider if you die at 40 from my pov and I die at twenty from your pov. I didnt die at twenty in my world, so who is this person who died??? Basically, any person you observe DEFINITIVELY did not observe your death, but all of them are supposedly going to or have observed your death. There are some interestting ideas to fix this I can come up off the top of my head but I am trying to soothe you. Dont worry Anon you are fine.
To wrap up, if someone observes your death, but you dont die from your pov, that means they must leave your universe and leave a copy of themselves behind that you observe to one day die. What is this creature? How is it not you? How do you know you arent it? Unless we leave behind unliving clones, it doesnt make sense (as typically presented). Finally, even assuming we do leave these clones, it is assumably infinitely likely that you are a dying xlone and not the main copy. Funny way to explain our births ig.
