This is a dumb question, but
if you have a heavy car (some sort of truck) and a small, light personal car, and you give both of them the same engine, then what would be the difference in their top speeds?

Of course, the heavy car would have a lower acceleration, but would there be a difference in the theoretical max speed that they can reach? Would one of them end up faster or would they be the same in the end?
