Patients with PFC damage often will grab things in their environment and start interacting with them without the conscious intention to do so. (Like scribbling on a piece of paper). It's tied to the fact PFC which creates restraint over the parietal cortex (which encodes ways to interact with objects). So with the PFC gone, these patients can't help but grab stuff and start using them.
