No. I don’t care about math. I can tell you only that people that worry about real numbers aren’t usually interested in science as no physicist cares about real numbers. It’s almost always people in CS who are also idealistic schizos that get upset about the Reals.

Science is all that matters, and scientists don’t need nor care to know the correct foundations for mathematics. Physics demands a continuum, and so the Reals suffice. Whether that is satisfying to you is no one’s business but your own. I find diff geo aesthetically appealing and it just so happens that riemannian geometry is useful to what im studying as are things like the theory of pde’s and functional analysis. your feelings and inclinations towards “rigor” don’t matter. Do you see what I mean?

All that you've said is that you don't care about rigor, and that's fine. You take some formulas you've been given by the mathematician, apply them like a monkey and move on with your day. Nothing wrong with that.
My problem is with mathematicians who pretend to care about rigor but then resort to using this imprecise, vague and nebulous notion of "real numbers" without ever stopping to actually think whether or not what they're doing makes sense by the standards they've set for themselves.

If you're asking what's hyped, then certainly algebraic geometry, homotopy theory and, on the other end, very applied things.
