Does metastability mean probing high energies with a particle accelerator could potentially endanger the Earth?

But remember that so many extreme environments exist that make our particle accelerators look like air guns exists that whatever humans could possibly create would be insignificant to what already exists elsewhere in the universe. So if metastability is broken statistically speaking it would be extremely unlikely, approaching never, that it was us that is the cause.
