What are you talking about? Plenty of animals eat together, have you ever seen wolves? They eat the same animal at the same time together. Same with flies. Humans are not really that different from other animals to be honest only in a few ways they are.

but wolves only do it because the carcass is too hard to split up and when one of them gets close to another they go like snarllll grrrrrrrrr go away this is my food but if humans eat together and someone asks if he can have some other guy is always like sure bro here try
both have plenty of food so they dont starve but only wolves get territorial while humans dont

What makes you think wolves have abundant food? Are you a wolf? Anyways, humans are already socially different so everything we do is socially different than the other animals, not just eating. The other animals don't talk the same way as we do, if the other animals did then they could actually be more social easier.

OK so basically, helping other humans in time of need has proven to be beneficial. It's a big brain concept that basically means I have a lot, so I should help the people around me, because maybe one day I don't have a lot, or I benefit from the people around me being healthy. In animals, a fat alpha is going to eat first, just because, humans learned big brain sharing a long time ago. Most CEOs of companies have psychological defects (narcissistic, psychopaths, sociopaths) so they horde everything, but 99% of humans understand giving is better for survival. Also think about giving gifts at Christmas, how good it feels.

Lots of animals eat with each other. Lots of birds are fine eating around each other, wild dogs, some wild cats, most grazing animals move in big herds, etc.
They get aggressive when another animal tries to steal the food they're eating, sure, but would you like if you dished out your thanksgiving dinner and then Uncle Bob walked over, scraped 3/4 of it onto his plate and ran away, and then you went back to get more but there was no turkey left?
