Therefore it makes more sense to only have one hole, but, the reason for additional holes is for things that actually make sense, like having an ass that is separate from your mouth.
I'll just make it simple because you might not understand it anyways, the human race is not being geocoded by using one throat for eating and breathing, far from it. Does it make sense now? No? You breathe in through your nose, and you can either eat, drink or breathe through your mouth too. Having a second throat would be way too complicated for a natural process to just evolve that mechanism on its own unless it was needed with great urgency and even then the species might just go extinct before it evolves.
