As I see it, our task is to prove that 3n + 1 always leads to a new odd number that is being multiplied by a power of 2 (until the odd number in 3n + 1 is one). How the FUCK do we do that?
How do I prove that feeding 3n + 1 any odd number other than 1 will lead to a different odd number multiplied by a power of 2, and that each 3n + 1 ing in the chain (other than 1), will not repeat.
