They know passenger jets won't knock buildings down so instead of using truck bombs or military cargo planes that would they stick with passenger planes and smuggle tons of C4 in for controlled demolitions. They could fly real planes into the buildings but instead they insert primitive CGI into live news feeds to fake impacts and explosions. Never mind that billions of people with cameras live in NYC.
They fill WTCs 1, 2 and 7 with C4 but on the day they forget the 5th plane for WTC7 but blow it up anyway because they don't know their own plan or story.
For the Pentagon they do switch from passenger planes to missiles, then tell everyone it was a plane anyway because...? they want to give conspiratards a chance to catch them in a pointless lie. Then they forget to throw charred plane parts around to make their story look plausible. They forget to do it at night to make it hard for witnesses to identify missiles vs planes, and they forget to glitch the surveillance cameras.
