Is China still planning to do its "artificial moon" project, or has that been abandoned?

Western media in 2018 purported that China will be launching its first in a series of artificial moons in 2020, with following artificial moons in the next couple of years before concluding before 2022.

Now it's 2020, but I haven't heard any news of anything launching. Maybe it's because COVID-19 pushed the project back, or maybe it's abandoned?
