The rates of maladaptive pedophilia have likely increased in modern times, due to dysgenics. Pedophilia correlates with low IQ, and sexual development is so complex that basically anything going wrong can screw you up. Given that we're having shittier genes (older parents, in vitro) and that there are quite literally hormones in the tap water, statistically fewer people will be maturing into sexually healthy adults. This partially causes our society's shitty attitude towards sex, and combined with the sociatal factor, its not hard to see why rates of sexual disfunction are increasing across the board.
