>>12357471According to Bob Lazar, it is the residual strong nuclear force, in a similar way to how the electroweak force is a continuous force.
Aliens are able to use the the stable form of element 115, where the strong nuclear force exerts its affects outside of the atomic shell (the only element able to do so). This residual force is then amplified to modify the gravitational field around the spacecraft, allowing it to travel instantaneously. But of course, you have to believe in aliens to believe all this. Then again, the US government did in fact confirmed such encounters, so never say never.
If the strong nuclear force and gravity are indeed two sides of the same coin, then it could also potentially explain dark matter. Instead of looking for WIMPs (which may not exist at all), perhaps a better approach would be to explore areas within our galaxy where the strong nuclear force (corollary: gluon) is present in anomalous amounts.
Take everything I've said with a giant grain of salt, but sometimes it's better to imagine these possibilities.
