Explain to me why the FizzBuzz sequence follows the same pattern for every 15 numbers.
Is it the result of 3 * 5?

the modulo operator can be used to cap a value from 0 - n

so when you put 31 % 15 that gets translated into 1

What about numbers divisible by 3 and numbers divisible by 5? Why are they inside 15?
Is it because 3 and 5 are factors of 15?

So when the iterator is divisible by 3 , prints Fizz , if the number is divisible by 5 prints Buzz , and if the iterator is divisible by 3 and 5 , prints FizzBuzz.

All you are seeing is that the intgers divisible by 3 occur in regular intervals, and likewise for integers divisible by 5. Obviously, the latter is a longer interval. The pattern you see is just the two superimposed upon one another, and FizzBuzz is when they coincide, i.e., every 15th integer. An integer divisible by 3 AND by 5 is an equivalent statement to an integer divisible by lcm(3,5).
