Three doctors died today in El Salvador. We hadn't heard of healthcare worker deaths since 3 months ago.
It is obvious the virus mutates in every single population of the world. Some strands become infectious, some become lethal. It is possible that these medics died from a new lethal strand that will generate a new wave of deaths within this country, yet absolutely no research will go into it. The alarming thing about this is that the same thing can happen anywhere in the world. Lethal strands will cause short lethal epidemics and they will go unnoticed because of the infectious strain inflates the number of cases, and pencil pushers will keep using this incomplete information to dictate policies.
Why have the governments of the world not taken into account the potential of mortality epidemics caused by viral mutations? Why has there not been a single attempt at erradication, and on the contrary some are pushing Negligent Immunity?
