I did my BSc Chem in a top UK uni. Came back to my homeland in Greece for a PhD.

>expected duration: 6 years
>fucking TAUGHT modules in a PhD

>all the money goes on fat paychecks towards the professors

It is like that only in countries where unis are shit. Like Greece.
Netherlards, Denmark, Sweden pay you 40k a year and the UK around 20ish and the quality is outstanding. But you work hard as fuck.
