Why are lecturers so fucking lazy? Im looking through the power points made by my lectures and they are just shit. Shit copy and pasted from everywhere. Incoherent lines of information. This is the bare minimum they can do. Why do universities let them get away with being shit teachers?

Most professors don't even have teaching degrees and just learned along the way to becoming an academic. I think it should be required before becoming a professor but then we would actually learn something. Need to keep those drop iut rates up for more money.

That shit's even worse. It's an entire field attempting to methodize an endeavor that is entirely intuitive.

You can't teach someone how to be engaging or how to be passionate about their work or how to be empathetic enough to understand how what you are saying is being perceived so as to adequately adapt to the needs of your students.

Professors have loads of responsibilities and making top notch presentation for undergrads is at the bottom of the list. Besides their biggest value is in being available and it's your job to take advantage of their time by engaging with them.
