Im terrific at analysis and topology but I'm shit at modern algebra.

Why does algebra require a fucking construction every time there's a proof about a statement? It's always about some big theorem that lets me cut paste and sew my way through new proofs, first it was Lagrange's theorem then it all went to shit.
