Can someone explain this to me please :

(3d + 3) = 3d + 3

I thought you were forced to do the operation when you have parenthesis so :

6d + 6 = 2(3d+3)

But it is said on khan academy that :

6d + 6 = (3d + 3) + (3d + 3)

How ?
