But if we follow this logic, this should apply to all underage individuals and measures should be taken to halt their puberty as well. Why? Because the same principle applies: minor = mentally incapable = no rights = must be protected from stupid mistakes. Trans minors are already giving puberty blockers instead of the wanted hormone profile to appease concerns like yours.

Almost everybody regrets not transitioning as earlier, because it is vital to halt as many unwanted secondary sexual characteristics as possible. Especially male puberty can screw you up for life with unwanted broad shoulders, deep voice, and male hands which are all notoriously difficult to feminize.
