The symbol ÷ represents a fraction, which obviously admits two terms only. How fucking complex is that?
Of course, since the new convention was explicitly made for its use in calculators, every time you use a fucking calculator you will get the same immediate evaluation bullshit, given you're using an operator strictly designed for it. However since people are too fucking stupid to understand the meanings of symbols they were all forced to memorize the PEMDAS bullshit in school and repeat it like a dogma, just like how all math is forced on the ignorant masses
If you are writing 8÷2(2+2) the answer is 1.
If you are writing 8/2(2+2) the answer is 16.
The former was made to be used by humans and the latter was made to be used by machines.
