>>12335795I'm an aerospace engineer and I can tell you there is none. In fact kitchen stoves are responsible for tectonic movements and eventually earthquakes due to the force they apply to the earth at all times (imagine all the kitchens in each time zone near meal times, they're all turned on at the same time). Big Space (Boeing, Northrop Grumman, etc) doesn't want you to know that, in fact all the hate you see against SpaceX is due to shills employed because Elon Musk used a gas stove mounted upside down in his rockets so they've started a smear campaign against him to shut him down. Still, I wouldn't recommend using a kitchen stove to reach space, as they're way too powerful to carry a single person (even considering the life support equipment) and you risk of burning through the atmosphere before you reach space, like a comet in reverse. You can see this if you look at videos of Nike Sprint missiles tests: they were so fast tanks to kitchen stove engines that they glowed hot due to air friction; of course this was classified military technology, but for some reason word got out anyway. I guess it was too big of a truth to keep it secret.
