here's what I suggest:
buy yourself red laser glasses, and wear them 2h before sleep
go to sleep 10h before the time you wake up
after 1-2 weeks, it should naturally reduce itself to 7-8h
start sleeping polyphasically (if you are under 25, use a schedule that has around 6h of sleep, if over, that has more than 4.5h)
here's what I'm currently doing:
1. dark period starts at 7pm
2. go to sleep at 9pm
3. wake up at 12am
4. read some books pdfs while wearing glasses till 3am
5. go to sleep and wake up at 6am
note that once you start adaptation, it may last up to a month, depending on how strict you are with your schedule.
