Fuck I'm so nervous. It does not help that this position would be in chem eng not chemistry where I did my degrees. Any advice I should hear before going in?

It's a small university so I've been told that they care a lot about "fit" within their department. I'm thinking of presenting a couple of slides on how I might be able to collaborate with some of the departmental members. Is that a good idea or likely to backfire?

Idk shit about it but dont they know your degrees are in chemsitry and not chem eng? Surely to christ they wouldnt waste your time if they werent fine with just chem. Also why would you go into chem it seems so constrained
