New user, just rewatched Primer for the third time, and I'm really wanting to understand the physics involved. They (Abe and Aaron) touch on it at the beginning of the movie, but I still don't understand it really. I'm no physics wiz, but I have a degree in STEM and I have some limited understanding of nonlinear dynamics. Can someone much smarter than me explain it better? What is meant by point A and point B? What do they represent? What is the significance of the even and odd numbers when Abe is showing Aaron the point A and point B graph? If the subjects within the box are ostensibly unaffected by time, how does the protein from the Aspergillus sample build up within the machine in the first place? Again, I'm not a genius, you can make all the jokes yall want, I just want to understand the physics better.
