I read about physics from time to time. Many years ago when I was curious about magnets I read about the virtual particles for the first time. The more time passes the more dissapointed I am about the idea. Big contribution to my dissapointment is in hand of various YouTube educators. They talk about this like It's nothing to explain here. blah blah magnets blah blah virtual photons blah blah subscribe my channel and go away. Do you want me to believe that there are some "virtual photons" being exchanged? I heard there are alternative theories that do not include virtual particles.
