>>12329662you should read his book, "birth of a theorem." it's really good. perfectly encapsulates what it feels like to do math while mostly focusing on his daily adventures and the people he met through the process of solving the problem that would lead to his fields medal.
it's a normal book but hilariously there are places where he just throws in a page of latex pde nonsense lol, i guess he just gets a little too excited because it's all indecipherable. not that it matters. he gives an excellent idea of what it feels like to solve problems as an analyst without making it too technical.
