It's good if you can set yourself to it. No step I've taken has so far been out of left field and the only part that could use some editing in the first book is the bit on semantics plus it has a full answer sheet. It's just a survey of math tho. The wiki is good

Don't pick a book at a time. Open them all at the same time and so you can have a broader perspective, skip redundant content and making your own notes of you wish you'd find together in the same book.

The only way to really know is to try it and see. You can probably get most of these books for free on the internet, zlibrary has a lot of textbooks. There are a lot of online resources that can help you if you get stuck.

Honestly, if you're in 9th grade you really have no idea if you're good or bad at math. Most of your exposure to math has probably just been being taught formulas and algorithms for solving specific problems. These books would give you an entirely different perspective on what math really is and you might really excel at it. I think How To Prove It (supplemental text in pic) might be a good place to start, it's fun and easy to read.

If you really WANT to and you put in solid work the answer to your question is YES. (Yes, a 9th grader who is average at maths can follow along with the books in the mathematics reading list.)

If you don't WANT to you'll make every excuse in the book or fall off eventually. Just keep at it and you're set.

Also upon further inspection that list is shit. Too much preparation for what you likely already should know by now via just attending public schooling.

Use Khan Academy to refresh on the basics (arithmetic through Pre Calculus). Then go through MITs Open Courseware material for Calculus and above to your desired comprehension level.
