The amount of kids I knew who got filtrated by algebra 2 and than failed calculus 1 is amazing. Especially girls. Why is this?

I found math exceptionally difficult. It was solely because I found it extremely boring and didn't practice at all. I even struggled to follow along because I had absolutely no interest in the content besides getting a decent grade in the course.

I'm always very skeptical of the idea that almost everyone is dumber than I am. I think some people just don't care enough about some things enough to commit those things to memory. Those people are probably committing other things to memory that I don't notice or care enough about to even imagine what those things might be.

Because (at uni) teachers give too much importance to shitty ass demonstrations you have to remember and can't take them as granted thus it becomes boring.

Culture and perpetual expectation not being good at math especially in the US. You won't believe the number of parents who are ok with their child having a C in math during middle/high school.
Also the normalization of B's being a good grade. If you're not getting A's in high school, I don't think you're genuinely trying, given how shit tier US public education is.
