Is it possible for someone with schizophrenia to delude themselves into thinking they have multiple personalities (or some other disorder) to the point that their subconscious starts to make them act like they have multiple personalities? As in, the schizo believes they have a disorder so badly that they start to act like they actually do? Like how the human brain can be tricked into thinking it's hot and then it'll start sweating (and reacting as if it was hot) when it's not actually hot at all?
