What does it mean to be good at math? I've heard it said that you don't understand theorems and results, you just get used to them. Should a good mathematician be able to quickly derive every result he knows and uses, or is it hopeless to try to review derivations of equations you use that you struggle to remember? Is math skill purely your ability to organize your brain and think of possible solution methods?
